Kristi
M.A. CCC-SLP
Kristi, founder of Access Speech & Language Therapy Inc., has been working in the field of Speech-Language Pathology since 1994 and started her private practice in 2005. She received her Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Western Washington University in 1994. She began her career in Early Intervention (1994-2000) in Bellevue, Washington providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to the birth to three population. In 2000, Kristi worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist at the American International School of the Hague in the Netherlands. After returning to Washington, Kristi provided diagnostic and therapeutic services to children of all ages in private clinical sessions. Kristi is trained in the advanced level in PROMPT technique (PROMPTs for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets). She is also trained in DTTC (Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing) for treating motor speech disorders. Kristi has extensive experience working with individuals with Motor Speech Disorders, receptive and expressive language delay, Autism and Down Syndrome. In her spare time, Kristi enjoys spending time traveling and listening to live music with her family and friends.
